Sir Anthony Hopkins is in negotiations to join the cast of Dean Parisot’s “RED 2” at Summit Entertainment says Heat Vision.
The film brings back the team of retired CIA operatives (Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren) as they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe.
Hopkins would play Edward Bailey, a scientist who has been committed to an asylum and is a villain in the storylline. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-Hun Lee also star.
Hopkins’ involvement will also depend upon his commitments to the “Thor” sequel which will shoot from August in London.
