On the more rumour oriented front, Nuke the Fridge has a report from a scooper claiming to have seen concept art of Russell Crowe’s Jor-El character in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot “Man of Steel.”
According to the description, Crowe’s hair and beard is very akin to that worn by Ewan McGregor in “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones”. His costume is a goldish/white armored suit with a build very similar to that of Master Chief in the “HALO” video game series – “The suit has the traditional “S” is the middle of his chest and it blends in with the color scheme of the suit. Jor-EL looks more like a soldier than a scientist.”
Meanwhile another set photo has emerged from “The Dark Knight Rises” production, this time it could well be something we’ve previously only heard about.
During the film’s Pittsburgh shoot, we saw video of Bane (Tom Hardy) interrupting a football game and giving a speech urging citizens to “take control of the city”. He also offered “the instrument of your liberation”.
Today, Comic Book Movie has a photo of “Bane’s doomsday device” which could well be what he’s referring to. Could this be the ‘Rises’ equivalent of the microwave emitter in “Batman Begins”?
