“Blade Runner” co-scribe Hampton Fancher is in talks to pen an idea for Ridley Scott’s currently in early development untitled sequel to his classic 1982 sci-fi film reports Heat Vision.
Alcon Entertainment and Scott remain dead quiet on the film’s details, but confirm it will be set “some years after the first film concluded”.
Fancher and David Peoples penned the script based on the short story “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” by Phillip K. Dick. Scott, Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Bud Yorkin and Cynthia Sikes Yorkin are producing.
