The other week came the overhyped controversy over the use of a prop severed head of former President George W. Bush being used in an old episode of HBO’s “Game of Thrones”.
As the online back-and-forth grew more intense, HBO announced it was pulling all streaming, VOD and disc copies of that episode of the series until the scene in question has been edited.
Well the episode is back up on the various on demand services again according to The Washington Post. Rather than cutting the scene, the network has digitally altered the head in question to now resemble something more akin to a caveman from the looks of it.
The chin and nose, the only signifying traits of the model head that give away it was George W. Bush, have been drastically reduced. In fact the overall head shape seems smaller.
