Rose Byrne is set to replace Greta Gerwig in Derek Cianfrance’s suspense crime drama “The Place Beyond the Pines” reports Vulture.
Byrne will play the wife of Bradley Cooper’s police officer turned politician character who finds himself in a showdown with a motorcycle-riding bank robber (Gosling).
Gerwig, who was never officially signed on to the part, has a film-promotion scheduling conflict. Shooting began two weeks ago in Schenectady, New York.
