Noah
Douglas Booth and Logan Lerman have joined the cast of Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” at Paramount Pictures. This adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark already stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Saoirse Ronan.
Aronofsky, Ari Handel and John Logan penned the script in which a man must build an Ark to save all of creation from a coming flood. Booth and Lerman will play sons Shem and Ham respectively. [Source: Deadline]

Christina Ricci has joined the cast of Paul Duddridge’s ensemble dramedy “Mother’s Day”. The story deals with the relationship between a dozen mothers and daughters.

“High School Musical” actress Ashley Tisdale has been cast as one of the leads in Malcolm Lee’s “Scary Movie 5” for Dimension Films.

Melissa Rauch (“The Big Bang Theory”) is joining “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner’s directorial debut, the romantic dramedy “You Are Here” which begins shooting later this month.
The story follows a weatherman (Owen Wilson) whose father’s death leads him and his best friend (Zach Galifianakis) on a journey to find a healthy relationship.
Rauch will play an over-coiffed and over-dressed call girl in the movie. Amy Poehler also star. [Source: THR]
