Christina Ricci is starring in Sarah Spillane’s Australian feel-good film “Around the Block” for Arclight Films says Inside Film.
Ricci plays an unconventional American drama teacher who develops a friendship with 16-year-old Australian-Aboriginal boy Liam (Hunter Page-Lochard) who is torn between his unexpected love of theatre and the disintegration of his family.
A four week shoot kicked off this week in the Sydney suburb of Redfern. Jack Thompson, Matthew Nable, Damien Walshe-Howling, Daniel Henshall and Ruby Rose also star.
