Dwayne Johnson is attached to produce and potentially star in “Teddy Bear” at New Line, a project based on an illustration.
Greek software engineer turned fantasy artist Alex Panagopoulos drew the picture which features a little girl asleep in bed while a small brown teddy bear, with a small wooden sword and shield, holds a giant fanged monster at bay.
A caption reads “Teddy Bears: Protecting innocent children from monsters under the bed since 1902.”
Beau Flynn (“Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”) will also produce. No writer is presently attached and the story’s take is being kept secret.
