Ehren Kruger Pens “Invertigo,” Matterhorn

Scribe Ehren Kruger (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Scream 3”) has been tied to both “Invertigo” for Sony Pictures and the untitled project loosely based on the Disneyland Matterhorn ride for Disney Pictures says Heat Vision.

Brian Beletic helms the untitled mountain explorers movie which Kruger will re-write from an earlier draft by Jason Dean Hall. The story centers on five young adventure seekers — an action sports guy, travel guide, cartographer, archeologist and escape artist.

The quintet venture into the Alps for mysterious reasons and face Yetis that guard a secret. Justin Springer is producing.

Story details on “Invertigo” are not forthcoming, but Kruger co-wrote the script with Bradley Camp and will executive produce the project which Sony has just acquired. No further details are forthcoming.
