Is Spielberg Back For “Jurassic Park IV”?

Could Steven Spielberg be back at the helm of another “Jurassic Park”?

Talk of this possibility has been gaining momentum quickly this week after it was revealed that Universal has reserved Raleigh Studios in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from April through November.

There’s no official word on what project will shoot there, but suggestions are it could be the fourth “Jurassic Park” which is reportedly targeting a Summer 2014 release. There has also been talk that Hawaii’s Kualoa Ranch, where the first film was shot, could be making an appearance.

The studio is well into preparations on the project with production offices open and various key personnel and cast currently being hired. However, the name of the director on the project is reportedly being kept top secret – even from much of the crew.

Spielberg remains committed to helming “Robopocalypse,” but that project was put on hold back in January and production has been pushed to the this Fall at the earliest.

Producer Frank Marshall is promising updates on the project soon, probably closer to the launch of “Jurassic Park 3D” in cinemas in three weeks.
