Lana and Andy Wachowski are prepping “Jupiter Ascending”, their first major science fiction action franchise effort since “The Matrix” reports Deadline.
An original creation by the duo, the Warner Brothers project is on track to start production in the spring. Story details are being kept top secret, but discussion about casting is now underway.
The siblings are currently shooting interconnected segments of the sci-fi ensemble drama adaptation “Cloud Atlas”. Their proposed “Cobalt Neutral 9”, which details the relationship between a gay U.S. soldier and an Iraqi citizen, looks to have dropped off the radar due to funding issues.
