Welshman Luke Evans could be stepping into shoes left free by his “Blitz” co-star Jason Statham.
The “Immortals,” “The Raven” and “Tamara Drewe” actor is said to have been offered the villain role in Justin Lin’s “Fast Six”, a part previously offered to Statham says Twitchfilm.
After landing the part of Apollo in “Clash of the Titans” three years ago Evans has been working non-stop, culminating in the key role of Bard the Bowman in “The Hobbit” which he’s been filming on-and-off in New Zealand for nearly a year.
Now, with “The Hobbit” shoot coming to a close, for the first time in ages he’s got a fairly clear schedule ahead and several offers on the table. The timing on ‘Six’ seems right with that film to start shooting in Europe in June.
Earlier this week Rihanna was rumoured to be playing a villainous role of some sort in the film.
