io9 has come upon a casting call for “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” which goes into detail about the various new characters that make up the cast this time out.
There are several new Joe members to join Duke, Snake Eyes, Roadblock and General Joe Colton. There’s Walker who is the wise-cracker, Robyn who is a gun-fetishising weapons expert, and Brock who is from the hood. Later a “tattooed stone-cold badass” named Stacks, Brock’s childhood friend, helps hide the Joe’s in Brock’s old neighborhood.
There’s also Lecter, a villain who has joined forces with Zartan in infiltrating the White House and is developing high-tech weapons for him. He also has two aides named Smith and Jones.
There’s flashback scenes featuring a young Storm Shadow RZA’s Blind Master character. Since its posting, a source at Paramount claims these casting pages aren’t really an accurate reflection of what’s in the movie’s actual script.
