Paramount, Abrams Seek Particles & Nazis

Paramount Pictures and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions have acquired Patrick Aison’s spec script “Wunderkind” reports The Wrap.

Set in the 1970s, the action-thriller follows a young CIA agent hunting runaway Nazis with an older Mossad agent. The two become reluctantly intertwined as they hunt Hitler’s former henchmen.

The news comes as Paramount and Abrams have also set up the low-budget project “God Particle” at Insurge Pictures says Vulture.

Oren Uziel penned the script in which a physics experiment with a large hadron accelerator causes the Earth to seemingly vanish completely.

The terrified crew of an orbiting American space station is left floating in the middle of now-even-more-empty space. Abrams will produce.
