Following on from the set photos the other day, Ecosse Films has released the first official image of Naomi Watts as the late Princess of Wales in Oliver Hirschbiegel’s upcoming Princess Diana biopic.
Shooting was taking place this week in Croatia for scenes recreating a period when Diana and lover Dodi Fayed enjoyed a holiday in St Tropez in 1997. Further filming will take place in Pakistan, Angola, southern France and Paris.
The story follows Diana’s secret romance with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Kahn, who reportedly was the love of her life. Previously titled “Caught In Flight”, the project now appears to have been renamed to simply “Diana”.
