Radcliffe In McGuigan’s “Frankenstein”?

“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly interested in playing the lead role of Hunchback in frequent “Sherlock” director Paul McGuigan’s revisionist take on Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” at 20th Century Fox and Davis Entertainment reports The Wrap.

Based on a script by Max Landis (“Chronicle”), this adaptation is a sci-fi spin on the classic story of a creature produced through a scientific experiment. Shawn Levy was previously attached as director but left due to budgeting issues.

The character himself is described as pathologically dirty and dressed in old clown’s clothing. The focus is presently set on finalising the script, at which point serious talks will begin with actors.
