Iron Man 3
Whenever I visited Los Angeles from 1999 to about 2006, I would regularly stay at the Hollywood Orchid Suites right near Grauman’s Chinese. Now, the hotel has posted a report for their guests about some additional shooting set to take place on Monday night. Here’s the posting:

“Film crews plan to shoot wide-angled shots from cranes positioned high overhead ‘to capture the full scope, color and liveliness of Hollywood’ while they ‘blow up’ Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. There will be flashes of light, debris being propelled out of the courtyard towards the street and about thirty cars driving by with obligatory fender benders.

The shoot will cause street closures on Hollywood Blvd., between Highland Ave. and Orange Dr., Highland Ave. and McCadden Pl., beginning on Monday, January 21st 7pm through Tuesday, January 22nd 4am.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
A whole lot of speculation was raised over the weekend during an introduction at the “Kill Your Darlings” screening at Sundance. Actor Dane DeHaan, who is playing the new Harry Osborn, was introduced by ‘Darlings’ director John Krokidas as “the Green Goblin”.

Cue online stories galore pondering as to whether the green meanie would make a possible appearance, talk that DeHaan isn’t allowed to comment on just yet. [Source: Bleeding Cool]

X-Men: Days of Future Past
“You wouldn’t have enough room on the page after you’ve listed them all. ‘Every other actor who’s ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it. There’s an element of time travel and, naturally, it will be action-packed” said actor Hugh Jackman recently when asked what cast members from the original trilogy would be returning for this ‘First Class’ sequel.
