Jon Turteltaub (“National Treasure,” “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”) has signed on to helm the comedy “Last Vegas” for CBS Films and Mandate Pictures says Variety.
Described as “The Hangover” for the senior citizen crowd, the story centers on four best friends in their 60’s who escape to Las Vegas to throw a bachelor party for the last single man in their group.
Peter Chelsom is attached to direct from a script by Dan Fogelman. Jack Nicholson was previously offered the lead role but there’s still no word if he’s accepted or not. Laurence Mark is producing.
