Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired screen rights to Norwegian novelist Jo Nesbo’s upcoming thriller novel “The Son”.
The story focuses on an incarcerated young man who took the rap for crimes others committed. His father, a corrupt cop, commits suicide.
When the son learns his father was actually an honest man who was murdered, he escapes to avenge the killing and rectify the crimes to which he confessed.
Kevin McCormick’s Langley Park will produce.
