Winstone, Hoffman Offered “Noah,” “Fire”

Ray Winstone is apparently in negotiations to play a villain in Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical drama “Noah” which begins shooting this Summer in New York and Iceland says The Press Association.

Winstone will square off against Russell Crowe, who is already on board as the Biblical ark builder. Val Kilmer was previously linked to the role.

Meanwhile, EW reports that Philip Seymour Hoffman has been asked to play Plutarch Heavensbee in the much anticipated upcoming sequel “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”.

Heavensbee is the new Gamemaker at the Capitol after Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley) was executed. Plutarch is a far savvier political animal and plays a crucial role in the events of Catching Fire.
