Ben Younger (“Boiler Room,” “Prime”) has signed on to direct the biopic “Paz” reports Variety.
The film deals with the comeback story of boxer Vinny Pazienza who broke his neck in a car accident but came back to win three more world titles after being told he’d never walk again.
Younger will perform a rewrite of the “Paz” script by Angelo Pizzo. Chad A. Verdi and Noah Kraft (“Loosies”) are producing and shooting kicks off in September.
