08/04/2011 – UBC Students build Wall-Climbing Robots

Students in summer UBC Engineering Physics course go head-to-head with their autonomous wall-climbing robots

Date/Time: Thursday, August 4th, 2011 10am -12noon.  (setup begins at 9:30)

Place: Hennings Bldg., Rm. 200, 6224 Agricultural Road, UBC.

Visuals: Student-designed automated robots will race to climb an 8-foot tall vertical wall.  Students and instructor will be available for interviews.

Set up space will be available for TV cameras.
