Families, friends and co-workers will walk 5km or run 10km to show their spirit and passion for Starlight. This is a fun, family-friendly event that helps bring people together in support of Starlight programs like Wishes, Hospital Happenings and Great Escapes. With a mascot parade, a nature-themed scavenger hunt along the trail, DQ picnic lunch and lots of great entertainment, crafts and games, this event a fun-filled day for the whole family! Thousands of Canadians will participate in the Walk & Run for Smiles at 4 locations across the country.
The Starlight Childrens Foundations 7th Annual Walk & Run for Smiles, presented by Cineplex, takes place on Saturday, September 29th at Vancouvers Pacific Spirit Park. The annual event, one of Starlights biggest fundraisers, raises both awareness of the pain, fear and isolation experience by children with a serious illness and funds to support the Foundation in its effort to help children and families across BC.
