SOCIAL MEDIA SET UP
(INCLUDES 2011 CIRI AGM AT START OF SESSION)
You know your company needs to begin a social media campaign, but how do you set up and maintain that program? This session will be Wi-Fi equipped, so bring your laptop and this hands-on event will help you get started to use the latest tactics and tools in social media for IR. Jon Bey, President of Steel Rose Communications, will provide step-by-step guidance on setting up new social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and SlideShare. Ariadna Peretz, social media specialist at NovaGold Resources, will provide insight on how to build your social media audience and some tips on how she keeps her social media program running smoothly and in compliance with disclosure rules. CIRI BC will be holding its Annual General Meeting at the beginning of the workshop and a networking event will follow the social media session.
