This is an informal meetup where beginner Android developers can network and learn from each other installing the initial Android environments/SDKs. Due to the endless variations of computer and device configs, this initial setup seems to be quite a challenge in reality!
Bring your laptops and (1) install Eclipse, (2) install the Android SDK, (3) install ADT, (4) set up your AVDs and/or USB drivers, and (5) set up your project build configs and compile and run the “Hello Android!” activity.
Based on the survey responses, people prefer weekday evenings most. I will order some assorted drinks and pizza. Please bring $ 10 cash to event.
