B.C. crews are heading south to help fight forest fires in two U.S. states.
Lightning strikes have sparked a number of fires in Idaho and Montana and more are expected.
Fionna Tollovsen with BC’s Ministry of Forests says two air tankers and 20 personnel are being sent. Some left on Saturday, others were scheduled to leave on Sunday.
