VANCOUVER – Three men were sent to hospital this weekend following stabbing incidents in Metro Vancouver.
RCMP Staff Sergeant Roxanne Dowden says two men were admitted to hospital early Sunday with non-life-threatening injuries following an alcohol-fuelled house party in Maple Ridge.
She says an ambulance took one 20-year-old male to hospital with stab wounds, while a second 25-year-old male was taken to hospital by a friend.
She says police are speaking with witnesses to identify the suspect.
Meantime, police in Richmond are also investigating a Saturday stabbing incident at the Lansdowne shopping centre.
The RCMP say the suspect fled the scene, and the 24-year-old victim was admitted to hospital for surgery and is expected to recover.
