A Pemberton woman is looking for a Christmas miracle to save her home before a legal bill – that’s not supposed to be hers – takes it away.
Dale Fotsch received forclosure documents this week. The lawyer who represented her in a settlement case she won — is going after her home to cover her legal bill which her ex-husband was ordered to pay.
Four days ago two good samaritans started the website HelpDale.ca to raise money and try to save her home – fotsch says it’s amazing.”I just can not beleive that so many people are just as appauled as I am about this whole thing – you know like, it’s really heartwarming.”
Unfortunately Fotsch says it might be too little too late.
She says she doesn’t know what’s next for her and her mentally disabled son. “What are we going to do – it’s just around Christmas time and we’re going to be forced out of home over this bill”
Her husband delcared bankuptcy before he could pay what the court ordered.
