Charges against hang glide pilot surprise peers

 

 

The Safety Director of the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada is reacting to a charge of obstructing justice having been laid against the pilot of a tandem hang-gliding flight from which a 27 year old Vancouver woman fell to her death on Saturday.
 
Jason Warner: “I didn’t see that coming. So, it’s just shock.”

Warner says he thinks the charge is taking away from focus on the tragedy for the victim, Lenami Godinez and her family.
 
William Orders is in custody until ,May 2nd when he will reappear in Court.
