Charges laid in connection with stabbing at West End apartment Thursday

Vancouver Police say charges have been laid in connection to last night’s stabbing at a West End apartment building.

Thirty-three year old Vancouver man, Jerome Bonneric is charged with four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of common assault, and one count of assaulting a police officer.

Police responded about 6:45pm Thursday to an apartment building in the 1200 block of Barclay Street.

Seven people were injured after having apparently been stabbed, six went to hospital.

Police say it’s believed Bonneric was staying with a friend at the building.

Bonneric is not known to police.

He’s set to be in court Monday morning.
