The woman whose story sparked several separate allegations of harassment against the RCMP is now suing her employer.
According to reports, Corporal Catherine Galliford alleges she was sexually assaulted, harassed and bullied during her time with the Mounties naming four officers, an RCMP Doctor, and one Vancouver Police officer.
Since first coming forward with her story, several other female officers have filed civil suits, many of them surrounding sexual harassment.
In response, BC’s top Mountie, Craig Callens, says all of Galliford’s accusations remain unproven and are being investigated by the force’s Professional Standards Unit.
