One man is in custody following a pellet gun shooting near a school in Saanich over the lunch hour.
Emergency crews were dispatched to Colquitz Middle School shortly before 1pm.
The victim was not seriously hurt, but he was able to point out his attacker to police.
District staff say everything’s back to normal and the school was never under lockdown.
