Murder victim had gang connections

 
Vancouver Police are confirming reports identifying the man gunned down sunday morning at the intersection of Ash and West 7th.
Police say 29-year-old Axel Curtis is known to them, and is suspected of having gang links.
Curtis was believed to be a low-level member of the United Nations gang.
He has a lengthy criminal record, for drug trafficking, weapon and driving offences, and fraud.
