Coquitlam city councillor Selina Robinson has been acclaimed the NDP candidate in Coquiltlam-Maillardville for the provincial election in May.
She hopes to replace NDP MLA Diane Thorne who announced her retirement seven weeks ago.
Robinson has lived in Coquitlam for 19 years.
