Sunday marks one year since 25 year old Matthew Huszar disappeared, seemingly without a trace.
The geologist was last seen leaving the Lamplighter Pub in Vancouver’s Gastown on December 16th, 2011.
Matthew’s father Rodney says he and his family met with police a couple of weeks ago, and he says the case is still active.
“There hasn’t been a lot of tips lately, that’s why the press release is going out. The Vancouver Police Department is planning to have one in the near future, just to see if something can come forward.”
Rodney says his wife and his daughter were out Saturday in Victoria putting up posters with information about Matthew.
