Premier Clark has announced up to $ 600 million will be spent on two new hospitals on Vancouver Island.
Approximately $ 334 million will be spent on a new, 153-bed facility in Courtenay while $ 266 million will be spent on a new, 95-bed facility in Campbell River.
Both are to be completed by 2017.
