Richmond RCMP have parts of the underground parking lot at IKEA behind police tape after reports of gunshots.
Corporal Sherrdean Turley says police began recieving calls of the gunfire at around 4:30 pm.
Turley says miraculously no one was hurt when the bullets began flying despite a jammed parking lot and lots of holiday shoppers.
She says the shooters and presumably who ever they were shooting at both fled the scene before police arrived.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
