Savings come to those who wait.
That seems to be the motto among the people who lined up in downtown Vancouver early this morning to take advantage of Boxing Day sales.
CKNW caught up with these shoppers outside the Future Shop on Robson Street.
CKNW: “What time did you get in line?”
Shopper: “One o’clock.”
CKNW: “What do you want to get today?”
Shopper: “I don’t know, just look around.”
A new survey from the Bank of Montreal suggests 62 per cent of Canadians plan to shop this Boxing Day.
One-in-five plan to shop for themselves.
34 per cent say they will buy items for themselves and others.
