The NDP MLA threatened by a man says a deal has been reached, charges stayed.

The NDP MLA who had been threatened by a man leading to an arrest,charges, and court says a deal has been reached allowing those charges to be stayed.

 NDP MLA Jenny Kwan says the deal includes an apology from Kimberly Burton Pollock who threatened her and her family.

  Kwan said “We are now at the stage where an agreement has been reached where I am satisfied my safety and that of my family would be secured and clear boundaries have been set and accountability would be in place.”

 Charges were stayed last week in a routine court hearing after the deal was reached.

 Pollock was charged after making threats and throwing what proved to be dog excrement at Kwan’s home.
