Another running event takes over Vancouver Sunday.
The Bank of Montreal Marathon will see runners start at 7:00 or 8:00am from Queen Elizabeth Park, head out to UBC, across the bridge to Stanley Park, and finish down at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
To get there, Translink spokesman Drew Snider says the Expo and Millennium Skytrain lines will start two hours early.
“Buses on modified routes at certain times throughout the morning to accomodate the marathon. If they need to be held at spots while runners cross, the race marshals have promised they won’t be held any more than five minutes.”
The buses should return to normal around 12:00pm.
