Vancouver has been rated as the third-worst- dressed city in the world, according to an article on MSN Travel, and they had only one reason for it: yoga pants.
The author’s biggest complaint is that yoga pants are worn for every daily activity except for going to the gym.
Vassilena Johns, a personal stylist in Vancouver, said even though the city is expanding in its knowledge of fashion, the West Coast health-oriented lifestyle has become the uniform.
“Don’t wear yoga pants out,” said Johns. “All you need to do is spend some extra time and effort on finding outfits that are just as comfortable with flattering material.”
Nine out of the 10 cities named in the article are located in North America, with Ottawa at No. 8 as the only other Canadian city on the list.
Orlando, Fla., was the worst fashion offender.
