Benderspink and Wizard Magazine founder Gareb Shamus have optioned the screen rights to Jimmy Palmiotti’s comic “The New West” says Heat Vision.
Set in a near-future Los Angeles where an EMP bomb has rendered all technology useless, a disgraced former LAPD detective must rescue a kidnapped mayor with only a horse and a sword.
Shamus, Chris Bender, JC Spink and Jake Weiner will produce.
