20th Century Fox has put its live-action adaptation of Judith Viorst children’s book “Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” into turnaround says Deadline.
Steve Carell was attached to star in the film which “The Kids Are All Right” filmmaker Lisa Cholodenko was co-writing and directing. Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps is producing.
Fox was reportedly uncomfortable with the budget so have let it go. The project will be shopped around immediately with its talent still onboard.
