Divorce Invitation
Jonathan Bennett, Lainie Kazan, Elliott Gould, Richard Kind, Ian Alda, Keith Robinson, Andrea Bowen, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Nadia Bjorlinto have joined the cast of the romantic comedy “Divorce Invitation”.
Indian director S.V. Krishna Reddy helms the story of a happily married man who runs into his high school sweetheart and soul mate. One catch – he signed an iron-clad pre-nup and his wife won’t let him get a divorce. Shooting will commence this month in Los Angeles.
A.C.O.D.
Adam Scott will play the leading role in Stuart Zicherman’s indie comedy “A.C.O.D.” which will begin shooting in March.
The Ben Karlin scripted project has Scott playing a grown man still dealing with the ramifications of his parents’ divorce who must do what he can to bring the family together when his younger brother decides to get married. [Source: Deadline]
Straight A’s
Luke Wilson has joined the cast of James Cox’s “Straight A’s”. Dave Cole penned the script in which Ryan Phillippe plays a guy who returns to his hometown after turning his back on the town over a decade ago.
He confronts his ex-lover (Anna Paquin), who still has feelings for him, despite being married to his brother (Luke Wilson). Riley Thomas Stewart has also been cast as Phillippe’s son. Shooting kicked off this week in Louisiana. [Source: Variety]
