EW has released the first photo from A&E’s new “Psycho”-prequel TV series “Bates Motel” starring Freddie Highmore as young Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as his mother. The series itself will premiere in the Spring.
Developed by “Lost” showrunner Carlton Cuse and “Friday Night Lights” producer Kerry Ehrin, the series explores the relationship between these two and how it shaped Norman into becoming the insane killer of the classic Hitchcock film.
