The Hypnotist
Lena Olin (“Alias”) and Finnish actor Tobias Zilliacus have joined the cast of Lasse Hallstrom’s Swedish feature “The Hypnotist” adapted from Lars Kepler’s international bestseller.
Mikael Persbrandt plays a psychiatrist who reluctantly agrees to help a detective (Zilliacus) by using hypnosis to uncover the identity of a serial killer. Olin plays the hypnotist’s wife. Shooting begins in January. [Source: Variety]

David Schwimmer is set to play serial killer Josh Rosenthal in Ariel Vromen’s forthcoming thriller “The Iceman” which begins shooting in Louisiana in January.
Michael Shannon plays the title role of serial killer Richard Kulinski who led a double life as a mob hitman. Ray Liotta and Maggie Gyllenhaal also star. [Source: The Press Association]
Django Unchained
“The Walking Dead” and “CSI: Miami” star Rex Linn has joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s all-star western “Django Unchained”.
Linn will play a role known as Tennessee Harry. Shooting kicks off in January. [Source: Deadline]
