Fox’s “Breaking In” Gets A Reprieve

The comedy “Breaking In” debuted to great numbers and reviews, but Fox cancelled it back in May after only a few episodes hit the air. Yet at the same time the network extended the option on the cast which meant the show might’ve returned. Three months later, the green light has finally been given.

Deadline reports that Fox has issued a thirteen-episode midseason order for the show meaning Christian Slater, Michael Rosenbaum, Bret Harrison and the rest of the cast will all be back in the security specialists comedy, no word as to whether it’ll stick with the current style seen in the first seven episodes or undergo some cosmetic changes.

The new deal also includes the pick-up of a new pilot from show’s creator Adam F. Goldberg which Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison will produce.
