“The Walking Dead” executive producer Gale Anne Hurd is set to produce the USA Network series “Horizon” which has been created by Bridget Tyler.
The cast-contingent pilot follows a woman who discovers her husband may have been killed by alien in the South Pacific during World War II. She, ultimately, becomes the only person standing between Earth and an outer-space invasion.
USA, which had success in the genre with “The 4400”, will not begin casting immediately so as not to interfere with the casting rush of pilot season.
