Ashley Hamilton is in talks to play a supporting villain character, the government cyborg Firepower, in Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3” says Variety.
In the comics the character is the pilot of an experimental armored suit which he eventually uses the suit to battle Iron Man.
Meanwhile Heat Vision reports that while he may not be directing it, Jon Favreau will reprise his role of Tony Stark’s bodyguard Happy Hogan.
Shooting on the sequel kicked off on Wednesday in North Carolina.
