Hendricks In Gosling’s Directorial Debut?

“Drive” star Ryan Gosling, co-star Christina Hendricks and producer Marc Platt are looking to re-team on “How To Catch a Monster” which will mark Gosling’s writing and directing debut reports The Film Stage.

Described as a “modern day fairytale” with suspense and fantasy noir elements weaved in, the story is set in a vanishing city where a single mother of two (Hendricks) is “swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town”. The pair must solve the mystery if they’re all to survive.

It’s expected the project will be sold at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival with production aiming to kick off in the Spring.
